Absolutely loved staying here during our road trip. Goldfield is quite literally a gold mine of Western American history and has some amazing things to check out. The room itself is like staying in a cabin from the past but has all the comforts and amenities that you'd hope for in a modern room. I saw that some reviews on here complained about noise but the room we stayed in (Rosie's Room) was sat back somewhat from the road and we weren't disturbed at all overnight. Jeri was a great host and was on hand if needed and the guest guide book was full of local information. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer!

What a fun place to have "accidentally" found on looong drive between Vegas and Reno! Unexpected treasures await your discovery inside, but first, you might want to take pics at the miniature storefronts along the sidewalk. Apparently there are BnBs to stay in on property. Be sure to check out their collection of purple (manganese) glass. Great stop in historic town! Worth the stop to explore a bit.

This place is INCREDIBLE. I am gutted to have only stayed here for one night. Me and my partner stayed in 'Rosies room' and it was such a beautiful little room. A little wooden shack in a row of 3 from the outside with cosy cottage vibes on the inside. The owner left such a carefully and kindly written informational folder on the local residents and shops. The room included a mini kitchen and shower room. The store next to the room was lovley too. It sells clothing, some snacks and gifts. Everyone in this town was so interesting and lovley and helpful. Also there are donkeys wandering around I love goldfield (apologies for the random cat and ufo shot I can't figure out how to delete them hahaha)

This isn't a review about accommodations. I'm a Chinese tourist from Australia. My car overturned in the desert, and I had a little language barrier. I met a kind person who took me to the nearest town for help. He also limited about this town and foud here ask for help.A kindly woman there warmly welcomed us, repeatedly asking if we needed water and chatting with us.She didn't unwelcome dince we are minority or non local, I leave so rush even do not have time to remembering her name. I wish her all the best.

This is really a neat little store. All sorts of crafts and T-shirts and sweaters and they're still building their inventory so stop by and pay him a visit. You might find something you want or just have a nice chat with the store owners they're fabulous people! I am looking forward to returning and staying the night in one of their little cabins. There's a ton of history in Goldfield worth exploring.

Awesome little cabins that are thoughtfully decorated as old mining town cabins. Comfortable and great as a home base for adventures in the desert!

I fell in love with these earrings the second I walked in the door. What a fun little boutique, and completely unexpected. You can't really tell what you are walking into from the out side. What a pleasant surprise! Adrianna was so amazing. And a wealth of knowledge of the history of the town. She has so many hand made pieces of jewelry!

Just "STOPPED INN" at the Goldfield Stop!! After passing by this place years ago, we were delighted to see the store/boutique and the "Stop Inn" both open for business, ready to serve weary desert wanderers! I just needed a cold drink, but we ended up leaving the store "Rusty Cove" with a couple fun pieces of merch and artwork. Check out the pictures below! They have local art and a lot of variety. The owners are good people, and the young lady running the store was very helpful and friendly! This is also your "one stop shop" for historic adventures around Goldfield. You can get info on touring the old schoolhouse or the infamous Goldfield Hotel right here at the Stop. They are also a wonderful resources for information and other tours around the area! Usually we just push on to Tonopah or hit the Goldfield Welcome center to stretch our legs, but from now on we will be stopping here to check out what kind of neat stuff they have and to say "hi" to the owners. We are hoping to stay in one of the rustic "Stop Inn" cabins in the future also. I will update this review if that happens! We are glad to see small businesses pop back up in these historic towns! Take a minute to stop and support them so the legacy of these ghost towns and their history lives on -Mojo Mojo.Adventures / YouTube
